Minsuizen Raku is centered around the concept of Japanese omakase teppanyaki. Through the chef’s refined teppanyaki techniques, the essence of omakase dining is fully presented. The 14-course menu uses simple seasoning to highlight the natural flavors of premium ingredients, allowing guests to enjoy a luxurious variety of top-quality selections in one meal.
Despite the continuously rising cost of ingredients, Minsuizen Raku has remained committed to keeping its NT$1,600 set menu price, unlike many others in the industry. For this reason, it was ranked No. 1 for two consecutive years in the DailyView poll of “The Top 10 Best Value Omakase Teppanyaki Restaurants You Must Try in Your Lifetime.”

- To thank our guests for their continued support, items originally valued at over NT$1,500, including South African live abalone, sea urchin, seasonal fresh fish, and more premium cuts of A5 wagyu, can be upgraded on-site to the “NT$2,400 Raku Feast” for an additional NT$800 only.
- Main ingredients include fresh live lobster, Japanese A5 wagyu filet or premium wagyu cut, South African live abalone (upgrade), seasonal fresh fish (upgrade), and Japanese red sea urchin (upgrade).

To provide a better dining experience, a corkage fee of NT$100 per glass will be charged for outside beverages. Thank you for your understanding and support.

If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please inform us in advance. If notified only on the day of dining, we regret that no adjustments or ingredient substitutions can be made.
For large group gatherings or private buyout reservations of 9 guests or more, bookings are accepted by phone up to two months in advance. Minimum spending requirements for private rooms and full-venue bookings vary by branch; please contact the branch directly during business hours. To allow us to make the best possible arrangements, we kindly ask that you call the reservation hotline during operating hours. If lines are busy during meal periods, we appreciate your patience.
For large group reservations, payment must be completed by the day after the reservation is made. If you wish to change the dining time, number of guests, or set menu selection after payment, please notify us at least 7 days before the dining date, not including the dining day itself. Late requests, or requests for time slots with no suitable seating available, cannot be accommodated.
On the day of dining, prepaid dining fees will be deducted from the total bill first. Only a single payment will be accepted for the reservation; split bills, separate invoices, and split member point accumulation are not available.
All other reservation policies follow the current standard rules.
Some branches offer business or VIP private room services, and capacity varies by location. Please call the branch reservation hotline during business hours for details, and a staff member will assist you.
Business / VIP private rooms vary in capacity by branch. The minimum spend for a private room is NT$22,000. Please call the on-site reservation hotline during business hours, and your request will be handled by a staff member.
The minimum spend per guest is NT$1,760. As seating arrangements and capacity vary by branch, actual arrangements are subject to the conditions of each individual location.

Minsuizen Raku operates by reservation only. After a reservation is made, guests are required to prepay the menu price for each reserved guest plus a 10% service charge. Each set menu includes Japanese wagyu and fresh live lobster, and ingredients are prepared daily according to the number of reserved guests. For parties of 8 guests or fewer, reservations are only open within 30 days of the dining date. Prepayment must be completed within one day after the reservation is confirmed, and no later than 2 hours before the dining time. Please refer to the payment deadline stated in the reservation confirmation notice.

For same-day reservations made on the dining date, the default menu will still be the NT$1,600 set plus a 10% service charge. If guests wish to choose the NT$2,400 set plus a 10% service charge, availability will depend on whether portions are still available for that date and time slot.⚠️⚠️⚠️

On the day of dining, guests may pay an additional NT$800 to upgrade to the “NT$2,400 Raku Feast.” However, the premium ingredients for the “NT$2,400 Raku Feast” are limited in quantity and available while supplies last. If guests wish to request a specific set menu, please indicate this in the notes section on the reservation page.

After making a reservation through the website or by phone, guests will receive a notification via LINE, SMS, or email. If, after the reservation is confirmed, guests wish to change the dining time or number of guests, they must proactively notify the restaurant during business hours at least 3 days before the dining date, excluding the dining day itself. Late requests, or requests for time slots with no suitable seating available, cannot be accommodated, and the original reserved number of set meals will still be charged.

Children under 100 cm are exempt from the minimum charge. Children between 101 cm and 149 cm are subject to a minimum charge of NT$799. Guests 150 cm and above will be charged the adult rate.

Refund instructions
Refund Policy
⚠️Please contact the branch where the original reservation was made, and a staff member will assist you with the refund process.
⚠️If the number of guests is changed in accordance with the reservation change policy above and the number of guests increases, payment for the additional guests must also be completed within the stated notification period in order to finalize the revised reservation. If the number of guests decreases or the reservation is canceled, refunds will be handled according to the original payment method as follows:
The same bank account used for the previous payment details must be provided no later than 4 days before the dining date, and the refund will be remitted to that account within 10 business days.
If the account information is provided after the deadline or if incorrect information is provided, the refund cannot be processed.
⚠️If notice of a reduced number of guests or reservation cancellation is given after the deadline, or if the full reserved number of guests does not attend on the dining date, no refund will be issued. Only cooked takeaway meals will be provided during the original dining time slot.

The online reservation system accepts bookings within 30 days. If your preferred time slot cannot be selected, it means the online reservation quota for that time has been fully booked. You may call the branch directly to check whether any seats have become available. -
To maintain the restaurant’s hygiene and dining quality
Pets are not allowed inside the restaurant. Guide dogs are exempt from this rule.
At the Tamsui Zhongshan branch, seating is arranged according to the order in which reservations are made. Specific seats cannot be selected, and window seating is not available during the meal. If you would like a window-side seat, you may leave a note when making the reservation, and we may arrange a seat change during the dessert course.

We are located on the second floor of an older building with no elevator, so please take note before visiting.
We do not provide regular drinking water. Only imported bottled water is available: S.Pellegrino sparkling natural mineral water and Acqua Panna natural mineral water from Italy. The water service fee is NTD 65 per guest for unlimited refills and may not be shared.
Reservation Policy
- After making a reservation through the website or by phone, guests will receive a payment notice by SMS. The reservation is only completed after the required dining fee is paid within the deadline stated in the notice.
Accepted payment methods are limited to credit card. After payment is completed, guests will receive an email confirmation from the system. If the reservation link shows that payment has been received, the reservation is confirmed successfully and no further confirmation is required.

If you wish to change the dining time or number of guests after the reservation has been completed, you must notify us no later than 4 days before the dining date, including the dining date in the counting method. Large Group / Private Room / Full Buyout Reservation Policy
Private room reservation details are as follows:
Available reservation times are 11:15, 13:30, 17:15, 19:30, or a custom time slot.
Small private room: maximum 7 guests, teppanyaki counter seating only, minimum spend of NTD 15,000. For custom time slots, the minimum spend is NTD 30,000.
Large private room: maximum 14 guests, teppanyaki counter seating only, minimum spend of NTD 30,000. For custom time slots, the minimum spend is NTD 60,000.
Full hall buyout: up to 33 teppanyaki counter seats and up to 12 lounge seats, with a maximum total reservation of 45 guests. Custom time slots are available. Minimum spend is NTD 100,000.
Custom time slot rules: for lunch, custom times may be selected between 11:15 and 13:30; for dinner, custom times may be selected between 17:15 and 19:30.Large group reservation details are as follows:
Available reservation times are 11:15, 13:30, 17:15, and 19:30. All four time slots are available. If a custom time slot is required, please refer to the private room reservation details above. The maximum number of guests for a large group reservation is 45.

Mingshuiran operates by reservation only. After a reservation is made, each reserved guest is required to prepay the menu price plus a 10% service charge. Any child who occupies a seat will be counted as one guest. If the child does not meet the minimum spending requirement, the dining fee may be applied toward the dining charges of other guests on the same day. Ingredients are prepared daily according to the number of reserved guests. For parties of fewer than 7 guests, reservations are only open within 30 days of the dining date. The deposit must be paid within one day after the reservation is completed, and no later than 2 hours before the dining time. Please refer to the payment deadline stated in the reservation confirmation notice.

For children aged 12 and under, those under 100 cm are exempt from the minimum spending requirement. Children between 101 cm and 149 cm are subject to a minimum charge of NTD 300. Guests 150 cm and above will be charged as adults. We offer a children’s meal for NTD 699, except during special holidays, which includes salad, soup, main meat course (boneless chicken thigh), fried rice, dessert, and a drink.
